About The Position

The full-time exempt Virtual Clinical Pharmacist works a 7-on/7-off schedule as part of a team of skilled pharmacists in a fast-paced environment. The role is based in an office at CPS’s centralized facility in Naperville, Illinois, and addresses patient- and medication-related questions while supporting patient care across the country. The office setting is designed to encourage pharmacist collaboration and a cohesive team environment.

The pharmacist serves as an integral member of the patient care team and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers via phone and live-feed camera. Requirements

• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy.
• Current Illinois pharmacist license in good standing, or ability to receive one before the start date.
• Willingness and ability to obtain additional state licenses as requested by management.
• Experience using computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems.
• Proven ability to use pharmaceutical and medical reference literature to provide drug information to patients and prescribers.

Nice To Haves

• PharmD preferred.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy experience.
