About The Position

Eliot is seeking a Clinical Stabilization Manager for its Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CBHC), a single entry point for mental health and substance use services for youth, families, and adults. The manager oversees and supervises staff delivering emergency stabilization, urgent care, and assessment services in the community.

The role oversees the development of short- and long-term stabilization plans for clients during acute periods. Working with a multidisciplinary CBHC team, the manager ensures solution-focused clinical interventions that manage crises and promote stability until ongoing services are established.

Requirements

• Massachusetts independent clinical license, such as LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC.
• Three years of experience with a similar population, including at least one year in a supervisory role.
• Strong clinical, assessment, and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and triage and prioritize multiple requests and urgent-care needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide administrative direction to staff delivering emergency stabilization, urgent care, and assessment services.
• Oversee stabilization plans, including follow-up supports, safety planning, and crisis management.
• Supervise staff providing short-term, evidence-based crisis treatments, including trauma treatment, psychiatric care, and family therapy.
• Ensure safety and crisis plans are evidence-based and focused on stabilization and personal safety.
• Provide clinical and administrative supervision, including performance evaluations and corrective action plans.
• Ensure smooth transitions between teams.
