The Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) has multiple openings for Clinical Social Worker at the Connecticut Valley Hospital (CVH) in Middletown. There are openings within the Addiction Services Division (ASD) Merritt 2DE (STAR Program), a 30-bed Women Residential Rehabilitation Program (ASAM level of care 3.7R) offering a structured and safe environment for women in early stages of recovery. This program utilizes evidenced-based clinical approaches designed for women with co-occurring disorders and trauma history. Additionally, there are openings within the General Psychiatry Division (GPD) Battell 3 South and Battell 2 North, which are acute general psychiatric treatment units with a maximum census of twenty-two patients each. These units provide psychiatric treatment and stabilization for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, aiming for discharge to the community in the most integrated setting possible.
