About The Position

The Clinical Research Coordinator will report to the UPENN Coordinating Center’s Project Manager for the RadComp trial, a national multi‑site randomized clinical study (www.radcomp.org). Responsibilities include supporting the RadComp Call Center through participant follow‑up (phone calls, data collection, data entry) and reviewing and extracting EHR source data from external facilities for roughly 1,200 participants. The position is contingent on continued funding and becomes hybrid‑eligible after the introductory period and six months of service. Standard hours may be 9–5, 10–6, with some evening and weekend work provided advanced notice and only due to a participant requesting a call outside of normal business hours.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct participant follow up visits including, but not limited to: tracking participants through timepoints, documenting all attempts, scheduling and completing calls within protocol specified windows, responding to and resolving participant queries, collecting and entering and/or updating data in the appropriate systems, ensuring timely and accurate data collection and entry.
  • Review, extract and code data from EHR source documentation from external sites for approximately 1200 participants; collect, record, and track adverse events of interest from EHR, ensure all necessary documents are received, communicate with and inform EHR Coordinator and PM of any issues.
  • Assist with updating study documents and maintaining regulatory binder as required by the sponsor, regulatory bodies and funder, including, but not limited to: reviewing and updating master tracker, requesting and collecting essential documents from participating sites, organizing files, updating MOPs and SOPs to align with current practices.
  • Participate in the auditing and monitoring process, as required.
