About The Position

Supports collaborative and innovative clinical research efforts. This position is contingent on the availability and continuation of external-funding and/or contract. As such, any offer of employment may be withdrawn or employment ended in the event the external funding and/or contract ceases or is reduced.

Requirements

  • General knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • General knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities. This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventative health-care measures.
  • General knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
  • Proficient skills in giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Proficient skills in adjusting actions in relation to others' actions.

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Five (5) or more years of relevant research experience.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in preparation and management of research budgets and monetary disbursements.
  • Directs the requisition, collection, labeling, storage, or shipment of specimens.
  • Codes, evaluates, or interprets collected study data.
  • Records adverse event and side effect data and confers with investigators regarding the reporting of events to oversight agencies.
  • Communicates with laboratories or investigators regarding laboratory findings.
  • Collaborates with investigators to prepare presentations or reports of clinical study procedures, results, and conclusions.
  • Orders drugs or devices necessary for study completion.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.
