About The Position
RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Clinical Registered Dietitian for a flexible, part-time hybrid opportunity supporting a skilled nursing facility. This position offers 25–30 hours per week, with approximately 50% of responsibilities completed remotely and 2–3 on-site visits per week. Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Current Registered Dietitian credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Current Pennsylvania state licensure/certification, as required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical documentation skills.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and applicable nutrition regulations.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of clinical experience preferred.
- Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete nutritional assessments, develop individualized care plans, and monitor resident progress.
- Provide nutrition education and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Monitor weight trends, nutritional status, and appropriate interventions.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with CMS and state regulations.
- Conduct monthly kitchen sanitation audits and semiannual menu reviews.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and other nutrition-related responsibilities as needed.
