This position is responsible for providing comprehensive clinical psychological services to inmates in the Sex Offense Program (SOP). The incumbent exercises full professional responsibility for their findings, interpretations, decisions, recommendations, and reports. They serve as a resource person to other psychologists, staff members, and operating officials. The role involves administering, scoring, and interpreting a wide variety of psychological testing instruments and procedures, including personality assessment, risk assessment, intelligence and cognitive tests, neuropsychological assessment instruments, and inventories of interest, aptitude, criminality, and achievement. Additionally, the incumbent is charged with maintaining the security of the institution, a responsibility that precedes all others and is performed on a regular and recurring basis.
