The Clinical Program Director will ensure the quality of services to clients, coordinate day-to-day operations of the department and recommend and implement changes that would improve the service delivery of services. Provide clinical supervision according to qualifications. Promote integrated care activities and be the lead that bridges medical services between two disciplines.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field or expected completion within one year
  • Minimum 3 years supervisory and program development experience in pertinent setting
  • Licensed by AZBBHE or license eligible within 1 year of hire
  • Demonstrable theoretical knowledge in the field
  • Able to use initiative and judgment to organize, plan activities, formulate policies, delegate responsibility and make decisions affecting diagnosis and treatment of patients
  • Must obtain and maintain a fingerprint card and pass a background check
  • Possess valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed based on department needs
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • Maintain professional conduct consistent with ethical professional practice and the policies and procedures of agency
  • Demonstrate ability to remain calm in crisis situations, work independently and cooperatively while recognizing personal limitations
  • Sound judgment and decision-making ability
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Long periods of sitting, ability to bend, lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Work is performed in office and community setting
  • Able to operate phone, Fax, copier and a computer
  • Able to operate Agency vehicle

Nice To Haves

  • Independent license with LPC, LMFT or LCSW
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Organization policies
  • 5 years supervisor experience in a pertinent setting
