ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT PATIENT CARE AND SAFETY? MERITUS HEALTH IS SEEKING DEDICATED CLINICAL OBSERVERS TO JOIN OUR NURSING SERVICES TEAM. IN THIS VITAL ROLE, YOU’LL PROVIDE ONE-TO-ONE OBSERVATION AND SUPPORT FOR PATIENTS, ENSURING A SAFE AND THERAPEUTIC ENVIRONMENT WHILE ASSISTING WITH DAILY LIVING ACTIVITIES.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to sit in quiet observation of patient for long periods of time without distraction.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification required
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient safety

Nice To Haves

• Experience in customer service or team-based environments a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide constant observation and personal care for patients requiring one-to-one support
• Assist with daily living needs: bathing, oral care, mobility, nutrition, and elimination
• Document patient interactions and observations accurately
• Identify and report behavioral changes or safety concerns to nursing staff
• Maintain a hazard-free patient environment and follow safety protocols during transport
• Support nursing assistants and serve as a preceptor for new team members
