Classic LifeCare is currently seeking a Clinical Nursing Supervisor to join our Calgary branch. The Clinical Nursing Supervisor is responsible for assessing client needs, coordinating and monitoring care, and collaborating with healthcare teams to achieve safe, effective, and client-centered outcomes. The role requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills to successfully manage complex cases and support continuity of care.

Requirements

  • Current LPN with the CLPNA.
  • Experience with pediatric care or willing to be trained.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification & clear tuberculosis screening result.
  • Criminal record check/police information check with a vulnerable sector clearance.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation within Calgary.
  • Strong leadership skills, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and ongoing reassessments to identify client needs, risks, and appropriate interventions.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that align with client goals and organizational standards.
  • Manage a caseload of clients, prioritizing needs and responding to changing clinical situations in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, employees, healthcare providers, and community partners to support positive client outcomes.
  • Provide clinical guidance, education, and support to clients, families, and employees.
  • Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to manage complex client situations and support decision-making.
