Clinical Nursing Faculty - Part-time, Non-tenure Stream
About The Position
The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing is seeking qualified applicants for part-time, non-tenure stream clinical faculty in the following areas: Community Health Nursing, Medical/Surgical Nursing, Obstetric Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, and Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing. The role involves contributing to a learning environment that values evidence-based practice and requires demonstrated expertise in at least one of the indicated nursing areas. Candidates must hold an unencumbered RN license in Pennsylvania or a compact state. If the incumbent has not earned a graduate degree in nursing, they are required to complete one within five years of the date of hire. Requirements
- Instructor of Practice must have a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Clinical Instructor must have a graduate degree in nursing.
- Hold an unencumbered RN license in Pennsylvania or compact state.
- If the incumbent has not earned a graduate degree in nursing, the incumbent is required to complete a graduate degree in nursing within five years of the date of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in clinical education and/or scholarship is preferred but not required.
