About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian is hiring a full-time Clinical Nurse (RN) for its Cardiac Surgery unit, 5GN, at NYP/Columbia University Medical Center in New York, New York. This is a 12-hour night-shift position. Cardiac nurses care for patients across screening, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery, working with complex cases and advanced technology as part of a collaborative care team. Nurses contribute to sharing knowledge and practices that support excellent patient outcomes. The role offers flexible scheduling, shared clinical decision-making, inspirational leadership, and supportive colleagues. The position requires on-site presence, and employees should live within commuting distance of NYP; travel expenses are not reimbursed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Current New York State RN license, or willingness to obtain one
- BCLS certification
