About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital is hiring a full-time night Clinical Nurse for its Women's Health Float Pool. The role provides care across the Labor and Delivery, Antepartum, and Postpartum units at the hospital in New York, New York. The Women's Health team supports patients throughout antepartum and postpartum care in a compassionate, collaborative environment, with a focus on individual patient needs and outcomes. The position offers flexible scheduling, shared clinical decision-making, inspirational leadership, and supportive colleagues. The role requires on-site presence and employees must live within a commutable distance to NYP; travel expenses are not reimbursed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- At least 2 years of acute care RN experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Current New York State RN license, or willingness to obtain one.
- BCLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification.
- At least 2 years of acute care RN experience in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Antepartum.
Responsibilities
- Float to the Labor and Delivery, Antepartum, and Postpartum units.
- Provide nursing care to patients across phases of antepartum and postpartum care.
