About The Position

The Clinical Nurse Manager plans, directs, and evaluates overall nursing care and functions. The role coordinates unit activities and directs, organizes, and assigns work to nurses and pharmacy technicians. The manager assesses, monitors, and educates nursing staff on patient care and institutes emergency procedures as necessary. The position is based at the Brownwood Office and requires driving to clinics.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Florida.
• At least two years of experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license for travel to clinics.
• Compliance with the FCS Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy.
• BLS certification required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment; FCS will provide a BLS course within the first 30 days.
• Clear results of a background screening and drug testing.
• New hires must receive various vaccinations, including the influenza vaccine, barring an approved exemption.
