About The Position
The Clinical Nurse Educator provides educational opportunities to clinic staff, including orientation programs, individual development plans, in-service education, and continuing education. The educator identifies individual and department needs through needs assessment tools and continuous quality improvement activities. They arrange and/or present program content in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and Bitterroot Health’s policies, values, and mission. The educator works with organizational leadership to provide yearly competencies across all clinical staff.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current Montana or Compact nursing license in accordance with Montana Board of Nursing regulations.
- License in good standing without disciplinary action or investigation.
- Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all parties in the patient care environment.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in education.
- Clinical Educator experience.
- EMR experience.
