About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Clinical Manager for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Sebring, FL. This role involves overseeing 24-hour ICU operations, coordinating patient care for a 33-bed unit with overflow capacity, and leading the nursing staff. The position emphasizes promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional growth, while monitoring and improving unit quality metrics and performance outcomes. The Clinical Manager will also serve as a clinical mentor, collaborate with physicians and hospital leadership, ensure compliance with standards and policies, and manage staffing, workflow, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years ICU clinical nursing experience in acute care
- Minimum 3 years leadership experience (Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager role)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 30 days
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) required within 90 days
