About The Position

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Liaison for San Joaquin Valley Rehabilitation Hospital, a 62-bed acute rehabilitation hospital in Fresno, California. The hospital provides rehabilitation services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses, helping them regain physical or cognitive abilities and return home with greater independence. The Clinical Liaison educates referral sources, solves problems, builds relationships, and obtains referrals. The role completes eRehab or LTRAX assessments and participates in planning, organizing, and executing the Business Departmental plan. It requires frequent day travel using reliable transportation and occasional overnight travel. The liaison maintains effective relationships with assigned accounts and teammates’ accounts, and serves as a source of market intelligence connecting the community, referral sources, and physicians with the Vibra Hospital team. The role often represents Vibra in the community and helps develop a positive, professional image that supports lasting customer relationships.

Requirements

Current, valid, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Respiratory Therapist, or Social Worker in the state where support is provided.
Recent healthcare experience in an acute care hospital, rehabilitation setting, or home health care agency or company.
Current, valid, active driver’s license.
Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with medical and administrative staff, patients, and families in an assertive, professional manner.
Ability to complete clinical screens accurately and thoroughly within established timeframes, with demonstrated clinical expertise to determine admission criteria.
Ability to compute statistics and complete necessary reports accurately and on time.
Self-motivated, extroverted, enthusiastic, and self-directed.
Strong commitment to results and urgency in achieving goals.
Ability to project a professional image.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
