About The Position

Overview: The supervisor in this position provides management guidance to a team of housing advocates responsible for supporting housing problem solving, relocation efforts due to domestic violence, coordinating housing initiatives, and reducing risk of homelessness to families impacted by family violence. This position will have key oversight of the Victim Coordinated Entry process that runs parallel with other housing coordinated entry practices throughout the city. Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal housing policies preferred. Working knowledge of how family violence, IPV, and child abuse impact housing stability. Job Description Summary: Collaborates with leadership to coordinate clinical services and related administrative activities on the multidisciplinary program to achieve the most effective, efficient, and culturally relevant service delivery to children and families. Assists with quality assurance, compliance, fiscal accountability, training, staff development, and customer and stakeholder relationships on behalf of the program team. Job Description: Essential Functions: Coordinates clinical activities of the program to achieve the most competent service delivery. Maintains familiarity with research literature in areas of expertise and supports research activities relevant to clinical services. Monitors and assesses practice patterns to ensure high level of clinical expertise and positive outcomes. Reports outcomes to management. Responds to ongoing daily operational demands by maintaining adequate staffing levels and coordinating on-call, on-call crisis, and urgent services. Identifies and responds to staff developmental needs through supervision, provision of formal and informal training, and approval of attendance at external and internal trainings and conferences. Ensures compliance to quality assurance standards and identified quality indicators including completion of diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, outcome measures, and other supportive required documentation. Maintains department acceptable scores in reviews such as Readiness Rounds and Perceptions of Care. Monitors contract compliance with specific funders or payors and provides reports as requested. Assists in the management of relationships with key funders and stakeholders. Reviews and screens requests for expenditures before seeking final authorization from leadership. Implements quality assurance initiatives that positively impact the operational efficiency and clinical accuracy of the behavioral health workflow. Assists with maintaining program fiscal viability and productivity standards.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in relevant field, required.
  • Appropriate Ohio licensure, required.
  • Independent license with supervision designation, required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to motivate and lead staff, as well as to represent the agency to stakeholders.
  • Three years of experience as a provider of mental health or social services, required.
  • Experience providing assessment and treatment to children and adolescents,required.
