About The Position
The Clinical Lab Scientist 4 works in a high-paced, high-volume laboratory using state-of-the-art equipment. The role maintains laboratory instrumentation and work areas, quality control and calibration functions, and supports professional development through training and competency assessment. The position also requires completing testing within established time frames and recognizing and addressing departmental issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and Medical Technology (MT) certification with American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent.
- Must meet the minimum requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Act of 1988.
- Four years of laboratory experience as an MLT/HT (internal CLS2), or two years of laboratory experience as an MT/HTL (internal CLS3); requirements may be met by an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Registered with ASCP, or eligible for registry, as a Medical Technologist or equivalent.
