Clinical Exercise Specialist
About The Position
The Clinical Exercise Specialist administers therapy treatments under the direct supervision of a licensed leader. This role provides quality exercise and health education for patients, ensuring a safe, pleasant, and professional atmosphere. The specialist is expected to be productive and efficient in daily operations, establishing and updating exercise programs to meet client/participant needs. They will supervise and assist clients/participants with their daily exercise sessions, ensuring safety, and provide effective instruction to clients/participants and their families through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training. The role also supports the health education needs of the center, assists Therapists/Providers in delivering effective treatment plans, and documents patient response to treatment. Other clinical duties as assigned are expected, along with demonstrating the ability to offer support and potential enhancements of services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Health Science, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Recreational Therapy, Physical Education, or Clinical Exercise Physiology.
- 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

- Supports the health education needs of the center.
- Supports Therapist(s)/Providers in providing effective treatment plans.
- Documents patient response to treatment.
- Completes other clinical duties as assigned.
- Demonstrates ability to offer support and potential enhancements of services.
