About The Position

The Clinical Education Program Coordinator for the Partners Program is responsible for supporting the execution of the Partners in Bleeding Disorders Education Program. This role focuses on planning and executing educational project and training activities, collaborating with the Partners Program Team to ensure educational initiatives meet continuing education (CE) standards and serve the needs of the U.S. Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) network. The Partners Program aims to enhance care through education for the U.S. HTC network and providers, fostering a knowledgeable and competent national workforce of HTC clinical providers. The program offers accredited in-person, virtual, and online learning activities for multidisciplinary hemophilia comprehensive care teams, including physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, physical therapists, and social workers. The program covers various benign hematological disorders such as hemophilia A and B, von Willebrand disease, rare bleeding disorders, platelet disorders, and thrombosis/thrombophilia.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of related educational program/instructional design experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
  • Knowledge of program planning/education training processes, procedures, evaluation, and event planning.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong meeting facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management/coordination.
  • Valid driver’s license and insured automobile.
  • Ability to enable multi-factor authentication via personal smart phone/smart device.

Nice To Haves

  • Clinical degree (RN, MSN) or MPH preferred.
  • Experience in roles such as Nurse Educator, Instructional Designer, or related strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Partners Program Team and stakeholders on the development and implementation of educational initiatives.
  • Lead instructional design for the Partners online learning management system (LMS), including existing accredited content and strategic planning for new online learning activities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on the PartnersPRN online learning management system, including module authors, accreditation providers, advisory board members, consultants, website developers, nurse planners, and marketing colleagues.
  • Oversee planning and development of project needs for online educational content, including needs assessments, author paperwork, accreditation requirements, slide editing and design, brochures, pre/posttest assessments, learner completion tracking, evaluation assessments, and outcomes data.
  • Ensure materials are developed, edited, and updated to meet high-quality standards, best practice, and accreditation criteria.
  • Partner with authors/stakeholders to ensure high-quality content, editing, and identification of references/publications.
  • Assist with developmental updates specific to the PartnersPRN website, including content, educational tracks, and data management/reporting.
  • Contribute to various writing assignments, including drafting and updating needs assessments, content topics, and progress/outcomes reports.
  • Assess program effectiveness through analysis of Google Analytics and other tools, resources, and data.
  • Support Partners team and online training events by attending onsite, assisting faculty, and fulfilling ad hoc requests.
  • Participate in center-sponsored activities as needed.
  • Assist Partners colleagues with ad hoc collaborations/initiatives when appropriate.
