About The Position

The Clinical Education Program Coordinator for the Partners Program is responsible for supporting the execution of the Partners in Bleeding Disorders Education Program. This role focuses on planning and executing educational project and training activities, collaborating with the Partners Program Team to ensure successful educational initiatives meet continuing education (CE) standards and serve the education needs of the U.S. Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) network. The Partners Program aims to cultivate a national workforce of HTC clinical providers who are knowledgeable, competent, and capable of full participation on the multidisciplinary hemophilia comprehensive care team, providing integrated care that reflects evidence-based standards and best practice. The program offers accredited in-person, virtual, and online learning activities targeting HTC clinical providers, covering a range of benign hematological disorders including hemophilia A and B, von Willebrand disease (VWD), rare bleeding disorders, platelet disorders, thrombosis/thrombophilia, and other inheritable conditions marked by excessive bleeding and/or clotting.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of related educational program/instructional design experience, preferably in a clinical setting, required.
  • Knowledge of program planning/education training processes, procedures, evaluation, and event planning required.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills, and strong meeting facilitation skills required.
  • Proficiency in project management/coordination required.
  • Valid driver’s license and insured automobile required.

Nice To Haves

  • Clinical degree (RN, MSN) or MPH preferred.
  • Experience in roles such as Nurse Educator, Instructional Designer, or related strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Partners Program Team and other project stakeholders on the development and implementation of educational initiatives in the Partners project plan, primarily supporting the development of enduring/online learning activities while also supporting live, in-person based programming and other ad hoc initiatives as needed.
  • Lead instructional design for the Partners online learning management system (LMS) including existing accredited educational content and assess gaps in educational offerings to strategically plan and implement new online learning activities into Partners portfolio, with the goal of meeting the needs of the HTC network.
  • Collaborate with the Partners Program team and various stakeholders involved in developing the education on the PartnersPRN online learning management system, including module authors, accreditation providers, Partners advisory board members and consultants, website developers, nurse planners, and marketing colleagues to plan, develop and disseminate online education to targeted audience.
  • Oversee planning and development of various project needs required for all online educational content, including needs assessments, activity description forms, author identification and paperwork, authors disclosures and CV document collection, accreditation requirements, slide presentation editing and design, brochures, pre/posttest assessments, learner activity completion, evaluation assessments and outcomes data.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure materials are developed, edited, and updated consistent with high quality, best practice standards, and meets accreditation criteria and standards of integrity and independence for continuing education.
  • Work closely with nurse planners at jointly accredited provider to ensure projects are awarded CE hours where needed.
  • Partner with all authors/stakeholders to ensure high quality content, editing as needed, assist with identification of references/publications to support the work, and other needed content development to support authors in completing projects.
  • In partnership with Partners Program Manager, assist with developmental updates specific to the PartnersPRN website, including website content, educational tracks, and backend data management and reporting.
  • Contribute to various writing assignments, including drafting and updating needs assessments for accreditation, content topics for Partners Advisory Board input, or funders progress and/or outcomes reports, surveys, etc.
  • Assess Program effectiveness, including analysis of Google analytics and other tools, resources, and data.
  • Support Partners team and online training events as needed by attending onsite, assisting faculty with training needs, and other ad hoc requests related to work.
  • Participate in center sponsored activities, as needed.
  • Assist Partners colleagues with ad hoc collaborations/initiatives when appropriate.
