Clinical Discharge Coordinator - Arkansas Residents Only
About The Position
The Clinical Discharge Coordinator is responsible for discharging a client from the Electronic Health Records system. This includes processing all discharge summaries, ensuring all draft documentation and future appointments are resolved, removing the client from caseload lists, ending client payer information, and completing the discharge form. The Clinical Discharge coordinator will review the report for needed discharges minimally once a week to identify all needed discharges and complete the associated discharge tasks. Will seek consultation with clinical leadership when needed to address concerns or barriers to discharge. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3–12-months office experience required
- 1-2 years medical record experience required
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, establish priorities and organize workload
- Problem- solving mindset
- Willingness and ability to alter duties to support the needs of the business
