About The Position

Manages nursing services and staff for a department, ensuring quality and full compliance with relevant policies and standards. The role oversees the delivery of safe, efficient, quality nursing care for patients and their families, monitors outcomes and care effectiveness, and addresses staff performance and development needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting.
• A minimum of 2 years of healthcare leadership experience.
• RN license in the state of employment or a compact RN license.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor programs and practices for delivering safe, efficient, quality nursing care to patients and their families.
• Ensure consistent application of nursing services policies and standards throughout the organization.
• Monitor patient outcomes and the quality and effectiveness of nursing care.
• Oversee team performance and identify and address staff training and development needs.
• Advise medical staff, department heads, and administrators on matters related to nursing services and strategies.
