About The Position

The Clinical Director is responsible for providing clinical leadership, oversight, and quality assurance for all ABA services delivered within their assigned clinic. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Clinical Operations, the Clinical Director ensures the consistent delivery of ethical, evidence-based, and medically necessary treatment while supporting the professional growth and performance of the clinical team. The Clinical Director directly supervises the clinical staff within their center, including Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Clinical Case Managers (CCMs), while overseeing the quality of supervision provided to Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). As Odyssey Autism transitions to a larger BCBA workforce, the Clinical Director will support and develop licensed clinicians while maintaining consistent clinical standards. The Clinical Director partners closely with the Operations Manager and maintains a small clinical caseload, with a minimum expectation of 10 billable clinical hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership for all ABA services within the assigned center.
  • Ensure services comply with BACB Ethics Code, payer requirements, and Odyssey Autism clinical standards.
  • Monitor client outcomes and treatment quality.
  • Support implementation of Odyssey's PRT/NDBI clinical model.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Clinical Operations on strategic initiatives.
  • Directly supervise, mentor, and evaluate BCBAs and Clinical Case Managers.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one supervision meetings.
  • Observe supervision provided to BTs/RBTs and provide coaching.
  • Support onboarding and development of new BCBAs.
  • Assist with performance evaluations, corrective action, and Professional Development Plans.
  • Conduct clinical overlaps and fidelity observations.
  • Review treatment plans, assessments, behavior intervention plans, and programming.
  • Ensure services remain medically necessary and evidence based.
  • Lead clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a limited clinical caseload.
  • Provide treatment modification (97155), parent training (97156), assessments, direct supervision, and consultation.
  • Maintain a minimum of 10 billable clinical hours per week.
  • Monitor quality and timeliness of treatment plans, assessments, supervision documentation, parent training documentation, and progress reports.
  • Coach clinicians on documentation standards and compliance.
  • Partner with the Operations Manager regarding staffing, scheduling, service continuity, and clinic performance.
  • Support onboarding, client transitions, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
