About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a full-time Clinical Dietitian to join the Inpatient Medical Nutrition team at Methodist Hospital Southlake in Merrillville, IN. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse inpatient population while expanding your clinical expertise in a collaborative healthcare environment. Hybrid work arrangements (up to 20 hours a week remote) may be available after training is complete, based on demonstrated clinical competency and department needs.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in Indiana (or eligible)
• Strong clinical skills
• A commitment to patient care
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Be a self-starter and a team player
• Ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units
• Practice at your full scope with order writing privileges
• Perform quality improvement initiatives
• Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses
• Precept dietetic interns
