About The Position

Cottage Medical Group seeks a Clinical Concierge Lead for their Primary Care Clinic - Goleta. This role is responsible for registering patients, collecting payments, rooming patients, assisting providers with care and treatment, discharging patients, following up with patients, and fulfilling all duties of a Clinical Concierge at Cottage Urgent Care. Additionally, the Clinical Concierge Lead acts as a Liaison between Management, the Patient Access department, and the Urgent Care Centers in the region. The Clinical Concierge Lead helps onboard new team members and trains the rest of the Clinical Concierge staff to help meet the operational goals of the centers. Responsibilities include ensuring minimal registration errors within the urgent care setting, modeling Patients First behavior, assisting with the flow in daily operations, and serving as a point-person for coordinating new initiatives.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) program or 2 years of equivalent work experience
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers
  • California LVN License or MA Certification
  • Ability to perform phlebotomy and administer injections
  • Knowledge of urgent care medical specialty
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Knowledge of electronic medical record, preferably Epic
  • Basic computer/email skills
  • One (1) year of experience as Medical Assistant or Licensed Vocational Nurse, including previous experience with an electronic health record and phlebotomy OR 1 year of previous supervisor or management experience in any industry to qualify for position
