About The Position

MaineHealth Cardiology is seeking a full-time, non-interventional clinical cardiologist for its Augusta and Waterville, Maine locations. The selected candidate will join a growing team of more than 70 cardiologists providing inpatient, outpatient, and consultative services. The Augusta/Waterville practice includes eight cardiologists and five advanced practice providers, with a dedicated heart failure subspecialist and a robust electrophysiology clinic. Care is delivered through a collaborative, team-based model. The practice is part of a coordinated, integrated cardiology network with locations in Augusta, Waterville, Lewiston, Rockport, and Scarborough. Maine Medical Center serves as the hub for MaineHealth’s nationally recognized inpatient cardiovascular service line, working with regional hospitals to provide coordinated cardiac care. The integrated practice includes MaineGeneral Health. MaineGeneral Medical Center’s Alfond Center for Health is a 192-bed regional hospital with a diagnostic cardiac catheterization lab and on-site imaging, including echocardiography and nuclear testing. The annual base salary is $620,000. Total compensation may also include recruitment payments, relocation assistance, productivity incentives, and quality incentives, based on eligibility. Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board certified or board eligible.

Responsibilities

Provide inpatient cardiology care.
Provide outpatient cardiology care.
Provide consultative cardiology services.

Participate in a team-based, collaborative approach to patient care.
