About The Position
Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University is seeking applications for a full-time, employed faculty position within the Department of Emergency Medicine. The ideal candidate will possess qualifications suitable for a Clinical Instructor or higher faculty rank. This role involves patient care across hospital, outpatient, and consultation settings, alongside teaching and research responsibilities. The department is a high-volume environment with a large main ED and a separate ED at Methodist, utilizing Epic EMR and supported by daily Advanced Practitioner coverage. It also features a robust faculty and advanced practice clinician team, a three-year residency program, and oversees the EM clerkship for all Sidney Kimmel Medical College students.
Requirements
- M.D. or DO degree
- Residency trained and/or board certified in the field of Emergency Medicine
- Qualifications to meet Clinical Instructor or above faculty rank
