UNIV - Clinical Assistant Professor - Psychiatry: Hospitalists Division
About The Position
The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a full-time faculty member and attending to provide clinical services to the Psychiatry Hospitalist Division. Services may include adult psychiatry emergency department service, adult psychiatry consult-liaison services, and/or adult inpatient psychiatric care. The schedule is Monday through Friday during the day and includes a set number of weekend and holiday coverage shifts, as well as some overnight call shifts. The candidate must be a psychiatrist able to hold an unrestricted license to practice in South Carolina. Salary is based on education and experience.
Requirements
- M.D. degree in Psychiatry or a related field.
- Must be a psychiatrist.
- Ability to hold an unrestricted license to practice in South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services to the Psychiatry Hospitalist Division, including adult psychiatry emergency department service, adult psychiatry consult-liaison services, and/or adult inpatient psychiatric care.
- Cover a set number of weekends and holidays.
- Participate in some overnight call shifts.
