About The Position
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina is seeking an Addiction Psychiatrist to join the faculty and serve as Medical Director of a growing addiction treatment program. The position provides outpatient care for individuals with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders and oversees medication management within the program. It also contributes to the department’s academic mission through teaching and supervising medical students, residents, and fellows. Care and medication management are provided in an outpatient, multidisciplinary clinic setting. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., for 40 hours per week. It is salaried and exempt. The role is based in Charleston, South Carolina.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Board Certified in Psychiatry.

- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Addiction Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine.
Responsibilities
