About The Position

Hudson Dermatology & Laser Surgery is seeking an experienced Dermatology Clinical Assistant Manager for their Hudson Yards location. This is a fast-growing office with two floors, one dedicated to medical and cosmetic dermatology, and the second, opening in October, as a Longevity suite/Cosmetic Research Institute. The role requires multi-tasking and adaptability due to frequent changes, but the company strives to maintain a warm, friendly environment that encourages personal growth. The Clinical Assistant Manager will assist the Dermatologist in all procedures, manage the clinical department (a team of 9 MAs), provide excellent patient care, handle phlebotomy, manage inventory and budgeting, compile medical records, train MAs, act as a liaison between providers and management, and develop/implement policies and SOPs. They will also be involved in launching additional locations with the COO. The ideal candidate is a team player with a pleasant personality, comfortable with constructive criticism, organized, detail-oriented, and capable of resolving conflicts quickly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree minimum.
  • 3 years of medical assistant experience MUST.
  • 1 year of Cosmetic dermatology experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Dermatologist in all procedures/Cosmetic experience is a must.
  • Managing clinical department fully (team of 9 MAs).
  • Providing top-notch customer service and care to the patients.
  • Phlebotomy.
  • Inventory Management and Budgeting for it.
  • Compiling medical records, prescriptions, PAs, clinical patient needs, and charts.
  • Training MAs from scratch.
  • Serving as a Liaison between Providers and Management.
  • Developing and Implementing policies/SOPs.
