Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor
About The Position
The Loewenberg College of Nursing (LCON) at the University of Memphis is seeking candidates for a non-tenure track Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor position. LCON is dedicated to preparing nursing professionals who aim to promote health and achieve health equity globally. The college offers accredited baccalaureate and master's programs, as well as a PhD in Nursing, dual-degree opportunities, online courses, and graduate certificates. Programs include BSN, Accelerated BSN, RN to BSN, and MSN concentrations in Adult Gerontology-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Nursing Education, and Nursing Leadership.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree in Nursing.
- Evidence of teaching excellence.
- Willingness to follow department-directed course objectives and outcomes.
- Documented evidence of ability in instruction, service, and research.
- Served 3 years at the rank of assistant professor (Exceptions to this minimum rank qualification can be approved by the provost).
- Professional comportment consistent with the Faculty Code of Conduct.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
