About The Position

This is a 12-month fixed term position reporting to a Division Chair. The fixed term faculty member may have teaching responsibilities in didactic, clinical, laboratory, and/or simulation settings in the prelicensure programs. Expertise in adult health, pathophysiology, and pharmacology preferred. The faculty member may serve as course coordinator, oversee advisement of prelicensure honors projects, serve on BSN, MSN, DNP and/or PhD committees. Additional service and scholarship commiserate with rank.

Requirements

• Eligibility for RN License in North Carolina
• At least 2 years of clinical experience
• Ability to demonstrate leadership in academic practices

Nice To Haves

• Doctorate preferred
• Expertise in adult health, pathophysiology, and pharmacology preferred
• Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE)
• Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) or Certified Academic Clinical Nurse Educator (CNEcl)
• Expertise in adult health, pathophysiology and/or pharmacology
