We are seeking a Clinical Application Systems Analyst - Intermediate to support IT EMR Services with a primary focus on Epic ASAP and related clinical applications. This role is responsible for application support, system maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and workflow optimization while ensuring system integrity and reliability. The ideal candidate will collaborate with operational and IT teams to resolve complex issues, implement system enhancements, and support continuous improvement initiatives that advance clinical and business operations. Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED plus seven (7) years of experience supporting and maintaining computer systems, or Associate's degree in Computer Sciences, Nursing, or related healthcare field, plus five (5) years of experience supporting and maintaining computer systems or Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Nursing, or related healthcare field, plus three (3) years of experience supporting and maintaining computer systems, or Post Graduate degree in Computer Sciences, Nursing, or related healthcare field, plus one (1) year of experience supporting and maintaining computer systems required.
  • Epic ASAP certification required.
  • Proficiency in Epic ASAP and related applications.
  • Knowledge of drug formulary, dispensing and ordering methods & products, processes and procedures used in a pharmacy is required to develop, configure, test, document, and implement a Pharmacy system.
  • The ability to lead meetings, resolve conflicts, maintain issue lists, and manage a project plan.
  • The ability to probe for information about the underlying needs of the organization and user community, which directly influences how the system will be utilized.
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
  • Persons must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, test, and optimize Epic ASAP and related clinical applications to support operational needs, system integrity, and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with end users, operational stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to analyze business processes, define system requirements, and implement effective workflow solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement timely resolutions in accordance with established service level agreements.
  • Monitor application performance, integrations, and security to ensure system reliability, data integrity, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Lead or support application implementations, upgrades, enhancements, testing activities, and documentation while ensuring project objectives and timelines are met.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members, maintain required certifications, and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • May perform additional tasks as assigned to support departmental goals.
