About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Epic Inpatient - Clinical Application Systems Analyst - Intermediate to support IT Inpatient Systems with a primary focus on Epic ClinDoc and CPOE applications. This role requires an independent, highly analytical professional who can support application configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and workflow optimization while ensuring system integrity and reliability. The ideal candidate will collaborate with operational stakeholders, software vendors, and IT teams to resolve complex issues, implement system enhancements, and support clinical and business objectives. Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED plus seven (7) years of IT experience or clinical/operational experience, or any combination of the two, or Associate degree in a Clinical, Healthcare, Business, IT, or related field plus five (5) years of IT experience or clinical/operational experience, or any combination of the two, or Bachelor’s degree in a Clinical, Healthcare, Business, IT, or related field plus three (3) years of IT experience or clinical/operational experience, or any combination of the two, or Post Graduate degree in a Clinical, Healthcare, Business, IT, or related field, plus one (1) year of IT experience or clinical/operational experience, or any combination of the two required.
  • Epic ClinDoc and/or Epic CPOE certification required.
  • Proficiency in Epic ClinDock or CPOE.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, test, and optimize Epic ClinDoc, CPOE, and related inpatient applications to support operational efficiency, clinical workflows, and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with end users, operational stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to analyze business processes, define system requirements, and implement effective workflow solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement timely resolutions while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders throughout the issue lifecycle.
  • Monitor application performance, integrations, and security to ensure system reliability, data integrity, interoperability, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Lead or support application implementations, upgrades, enhancements, testing activities, and documentation while ensuring project objectives, timelines, and quality standards are met.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members, maintain required certifications, and contribute to process improvement initiatives and best practices.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.
