The University of Miami Health System (“UHealth”) IT Department has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Clinical Analyst 2 to work at in Miami onsite at Sole Mia. The Clinical Analyst, Sole Mia works to ensure the clinical computer information systems in the UHealth system are working efficiently and effectively. The analyst provides further experience and knowledge to ensure all aspects of applications and systems development, build and implementation. The Clinical Analyst, Sole Mia may lead software upgrades and testing, analyze, define and apply technical knowledge to solve complex problems regarding clinical application systems. The Clinical Analyst, Sole Mia works closely with team members, staff and other personnel to further their understanding of objectives and requirements for the assigned clinical system. The analyst may be responsible for understanding change impacts, formulating strategies with key stakeholders, and addressing problems and challenges within the clinical information systems which may include software problems, hardware issues or network difficulties. As a Clinical Analyst you will report to the Senior Manager and will be responsible for: Providing oversight and leadership to Associate Clinical Analysts on the team Implementing, building, and modifying the application Collaborating with key stakeholders, end-users, and application team members to optimize the application’s configuration, function, and access As a Clinical Analyst you will: Serve as primary workflow support onsite contact for application end‐users. Perform daily onsite rounding. Design, develop, implement, and maintain the applications Support all phases of testing including integrated testing, user acceptance testing, technical dress rehearsal, and document workflow design Perform analysis of new releases and determine how they will impact workflow Identify issues and work to resolve them Provide day-to-day application support, evaluate and resolve service tickets, respond to telephone inquiries, implement requested application changes, and retrieve requested data in a timely manner Communicate and coordinate system functionalities with the Epic EMR systems teams and Operations staff, including downtime procedure configuration, support, and functionality Collaborate with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies Participate in on-call rotations and support Maintain regular communication with team members and participate in weekly project team meetings Review the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership Become knowledgeable about UHealth’s policies, procedures, and business operations This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities as necessary.
