A Clinic Supervisor is a highly engaged leader that possesses a high level of acuity in business acumen and is focused on developing a patient-focused team that is goal-oriented. The Clinic Supervisor will execute day-to-day operations of the office by ensuring employee scheduling, weekly meetings, report generation, inventory assessment, supply ordering, and employee training are completed. They will provide guidance on ophthalmic equipment usage, proper medical chart handling, insurance, and billing, policies and procedures, and computer software. The supervisor will compile operational reports to gain insight into the business and direct the team on areas needing improvement. They will lead the clinic by guiding staff to success through focused support and coaching, ensuring adherence to quality of care standards and fostering a culture of superior patient care. The role involves enhancing processes and workflow by taking initiative to build action plans to increase efficiency and profitability, collaborating with Practice Manager and HR on employee relations and recruitment, and working with other Clinical Supervisors and Managers to develop creative approaches to areas of improvement. The supervisor will actively engage in constructive conversations with employees to address improvement areas and formulate follow-up actions, train employees on providing a world-class patient experience, and act as the liaison between employees and the Practice Manager and Corporate. They will motivate employees by remaining positive and communicating changes or news supportively, and ensure the office and employees are compliant with HIPAA. Other duties as assigned.
