The Clinic RN will maintain an in-depth knowledge of nursing principles, practices, standards, and techniques, applying this knowledge in accordance with Sky Lakes/CEFPC policies and procedures and within the laws and regulations governing nursing practice in the State of Oregon. The RN will function as a team member, implementing appropriate nursing actions to meet the patient’s physical, emotional, spiritual, social, and intellectual needs. This role also functions as a care manager for high-risk patients, providing appropriate nursing assessment during intake and phone triage, and prioritizing interventions as necessary. The RN will accurately document information and observations contributing to the patient’s assessment and plan of care, report abnormalities to the physician, and document education provided to patients/families. Responsibilities include assisting providers or co-workers with care coordination, scheduling procedures and appointments, administering medications and IVs, providing nursing support in person and via phone, assisting medical assistants with well-child visits, and demonstrating awareness of cost containment and economical use of supplies and equipment.
