This is a Full Time Position. The role involves recording patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), maintaining patient confidentiality, collecting and transporting specimens, preparing for procedures, and demonstrating knowledge of emergencies and equipment. The nurse will collaborate with patient care planning, assist providers with special tests and procedures, start IVs, monitor IV fluids, and assess patients for safety and medication appropriateness. They will accurately administer medication and perform treatments, translate medications into pediatric doses, and identify victims of abuse. The position requires maintaining compliance with regulations, utilizing proper phone etiquette, caring for instruments, participating in mandatory in-services and staff meetings, and following MRH policies. The nurse will act as a resource, a positive team member, a liaison between patients, families, providers, and staff, and will complete assigned workload, floating to other clinical departments as needed.
