We are seeking an individual with a minimum of one year of RN experience for this role. RN will travel 1-2 days per week to support surgeon in clinic at the Carmel office. Requirements

Minimum of one year of RN experience
Associates of Nursing (ASN)
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.

Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare preoperative packets for patients, provide education at clinic visits before surgery, and place preoperative orders
Phone triage
Assist with clinic flow orders, in-office procedures, ex: injections/aspirations) and rooming patients
Learn surgery scheduling process
Complete FMLA/Short Term Disability paperwork
Assist with prior authorizations for surgeries/procedures
Collaborate with Pre-Services department, PAT clinic, OR staff, and Physicians
