About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Clinic Radiology & Lab Technician to work closely with patients when performing radiologic imagining procedures. Requirements

High School diploma
Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from a CAHEA-approved program required.
Must be AART/TMB certified, MT (ASCP), MLT (ASCP), or PBT (ASCP).
Knowledge of radiologic standards and practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proper judgement and ability to work independently.
Ability to understand, calibrate and operate radiographic technology and equipment.
Ability to work 40 hours per week
8am-5pm Monday – Thursday, 8am-12pm Friday

Responsibilities

Perform radiologic imaging procedures.
Assist in patient care.
Obtain diagnostic images of the patient.
Perform waived and moderate complexity biological and chemical analyses on patient specimens.
Perform phlebotomy procedures.
Give patients proper instruction, reassurance, and respect.
Take direction from the medical provider regarding imaging areas.
Explain procedures and answer questions regarding procedures.
Position and adjust patients and equipment.
Follow best practices such as patient shielding.
Obtain diagnostic images of the patient.
Make required documentation in the patient’s medical record.
Maintain radiology supplies and/or inventory.
Keep a safe and clean working environment.
Perform equipment/supply maintenance and inventory.
Meet accreditation standards.
