About The Position

Join The Oregon Clinic as a Per-Diem & Part-Time Clinic Operations Assistant in our Gastroenterology West Clinic in Southwest Portland. This role is crucial in ensuring patients receive high-value, tailored care by providing efficient and easy experiences for patients and stakeholders. You will work alongside a collaborative team, contributing to the mission of delivering world-class care with kindness and empathy.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of correct procedures for the handling and disposal of specimens and biohazardous infectious waste.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
  • Excellent attendance, communication, time management, and work ethic.
  • Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
  • A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of one (1) year of medical office experience is strongly preferred.
  • Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred.
  • EPIC experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining exam rooms and performing other administrative duties as needed.
  • Cleaning and closing down exam rooms.
  • Restocking exam rooms with necessary tools and supplies.
  • Cleaning and stocking team members' break rooms.
  • Tracking and collecting data as assigned.
  • Filing pathology lab slides.
  • Sending out pathology lab correspondence and parcels.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
