About The Position
The Clinic Office Assistant provides direct or indirect care, under a physician’s supervision and within the employee’s scope of training, to patients presenting with urgent, emergent, potential health problems, or preventive-care needs. The role supports patients and providers by welcoming patients, preparing them for visits, assisting with clinical procedures, and coordinating care to help provide a positive, compassionate, and efficient healthcare experience. The position is located at DC at Work in Jasper, Indiana, and is scheduled as needed.
Requirements
- Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current applicable credential or license: certification as a medical assistant through one of the listed organizations, or an active LPN or RN license in the state of employment.
- CPR provider certification.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience is preferred but not required.
