Compensation: Beginning at $72,251 commensurate on relevant experience Ellsworth County Medical Center is looking for a Clinic Nurse Manager who is ready to lead with purpose and help shape the future of rural healthcare. If you enjoy building strong teams, keeping clinics running smoothly, and making a real difference for patients in your community — this role might be the perfect fit. In this role, you’ll help guide the daily operations of our Outpatient Specialty Clinics and Rural Health Clinics, working closely with our Clinic Administrator to keep workflows efficient, teams supported, and patient care exceptional. This is a leadership role for someone who loves both people and process — balancing patient care, team support, and operational excellence.

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Nursing, Business Administration or a related field required. Equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in healthcare or clinical management required.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse in the State of Kansas
  • CPR/BLS required
  • ACLS current or within 90 days of hire

  • Strong independent judgment and decision-making skills
  • PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Clinic Operations Oversee day-to-day operations for ECMC’s outpatient specialty and rural health clinics Keep clinic workflows organized, efficient, and patient-centered Collaborate with the Clinic Administrator to continuously improve operations
  • Support & Grow the Team Guide and support clinic nursing staff Coordinate schedules to ensure clinics are fully staffed and running smoothly Provide training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities
  • Champion Quality & Compliance Help develop clinic policies, procedures, and care protocols Monitor quality metrics and support improvement initiatives Stay current on regulations for Rural Health Clinics and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards
  • Help Drive Smart Operations Provide input during the budgeting process Manage vendor relationships and clinic supply needs Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and patient experience
