About The Position

The Community Health Center of Central Wyoming (CHCCW) is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinic Nurse Manager to lead the daily operations of our Casper clinic. This leadership role is responsible for fostering a culture of excellence by supporting providers, developing clinical staff, improving patient outcomes, and ensuring efficient clinic operations. Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a medical clinic setting
  • Previous management or supervisory experience is required
  • Two years of college or technical school, or five years of related healthcare experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Records and Microsoft Office applications

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Nurse (RN), or other clinical licensure
  • Experience working in primary care, community health, or a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW), UDS reporting, CQI initiatives, Employee Health, and vaccine management

Responsibilities

  • Leading the day-to-day operations of our Casper clinic
  • Supervising and mentoring clinical support staff while providing administrative oversight for providers
  • Managing staff scheduling, hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, coaching, and professional development
  • Developing and maintaining clinical policies, procedures, and workflows that promote quality, efficiency, and patient safety
  • Supporting providers in meeting clinical quality standards and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Monitoring and improving quality initiatives, CQI projects, UDS measures, patient safety programs, and clinical workflows
  • Conducting chart audits, staff competency assessments, and annual skills validations
  • Overseeing the Employee Health Program and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements
  • Managing the Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) Program for the Casper and Dubois clinics, ensuring staff maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) competency
  • Serving as Vaccine Coordinator and providing oversight to ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational vaccine requirements
  • Coordinating orientation and ongoing education for clinical staff
  • Managing clinic supplies, eClinicalWorks (eCW) support, and timekeeping for clinical staff
  • Coordinating clinical rotations and educational experiences for CMA and RN students in partnership with local educational institutions
  • Collaborating with the Chief Medical Officer and organizational leadership to ensure provider coverage and operational excellence
  • Building strong relationships with community partners while representing CHCCW at community events and outreach activities
  • Leading process improvement initiatives that enhance patient care, staff engagement, and clinic performance
