About The Position

The Clinic Medical Assistant serves the clinic and its patients, maintains supplies, and assists professional staff as needed. The role works with a Physician, FNP, and PA and delivers patient care under Physician supervision while following verbal and written instructions. This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt, non-union position with an 8-hour day shift, typically 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; the employee must be able to work a flexible shift. A 500-hour introductory period applies, per policy.

Requirements

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to perform assigned duties and quickly learn the skills needed for clinical duties.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work effectively with team members and use tact and discretion in varying job situations.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Proficiency in operating Business Office computer programs.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant experience.
