About The Position

Monroe Medical Group, affiliated with Monroe Hospital, is seeking a Medical Assistant to join its team. The role assists physicians with patient care and performs clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. It also involves scheduling appointments, managing charts, providing patients with information to help them use and benefit from clinic services, and conveying a positive image of the organization.

Requirements

• At least six months of experience in urgent care, a primary care physician practice setting, and/or direct patient care.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Training program and/or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in English.
• Healthcare Provider BLS (AHA) certification is mandatory before starting work.

Responsibilities
