About The Position
The Clinic Medical Assistant Float works under broad supervision to assist medical providers with patient care, including vitals, medications, and completing patient history information during medical visits. The MA also assists in general office processes and acts as a backup to the receptionist as needed. This role provides phlebotomy services, completes diagnostic requisition forms, and assists in scheduling diagnostic tests. Coverage includes clinics in Granby, Winter Park, Kremmling, and Grand Lake, CO.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Pass and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to accurately take vital signs
Nice To Haves
- Two years’ experience in clinical setting and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Medical Assistant or CNA experience preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred.
