About The Position
The Clinic Courier picks up and delivers specimens, reports, and supplies between clinic sites and Broadlawns Medical Center hospital. The position serves as a personal contact and key representative of information and customer service to clinics, and contributes to patient care through timely deliveries.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Understanding of the healthcare environment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Customer service experience.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record, as determined by BMC through motor vehicle record checks.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver specimens, reports, and supplies between clinic sites and the BMC hospital.
- Complete assigned routes and deliveries on schedule.
- Follow procedures for transporting and handling items.
- Complete required training within established deadlines.
- Adhere to organizational policies and demonstrate BMC values.
- Provide customer service and serve as a contact for clinics.
